Web Site
This web site does not passively collect personal data. The web log is only used for statistical analysis of visitor numbers and the source of those visitors. Where the site sets a cookie this is used for statistical analysis in order to track which advertising and search engine and other links lead to clients requesting an insurance quotation. If you go to one of the caravan insurance quotation pages and fill in forms to request a quote then that data is collected and is used to prepare a quote and for insurance purposes only. If you are asked to provide an email address this will be kept private and will only be used solely by ourselves in association with caravan, folding camper or motorhome insurance.

Insurance Proposal
Your personal data is only disclosed, by ourselves, to the insurer to which you apply for insurance. It may also be disclosed to regulatory authorities if they require this as part of our activity as an insurance intermediary.

If you become a policy holder, through ourselves, we may then provide further information, to the insurer, which you subsequently disclose regarding a claim or change in your personal circumstances which may affect your insurance. This information is only transferred between ourselves and the insurer with which you have an insurance policy.

If you specifically request that we pass on your information to an alternative insurance intermediary for the purposes of obtaining a quotation for a risk that we are unable to quote on then we will pass on the information that you provide for this purpose. There are forms on this web site which clearly show that the information will be passed on another company for the purpose of requesting a quotation. When you click the "Send to" button you are transmitting your data to the other company named. We make no representations as to the suitability of the alternative company's policy for you. You must satisfy yourself as to its suitability and to the terms and conditions of that policy. The alternative company may pay us an introductory fee or commission if you decide to buy a policy from them. You will become their client and we will make no further contact with you.

Some of the personal information we ask you for may be sensitive personal data, as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998 (such as information about health or criminal convictions). We will not use such sensitive personal data about you or others except for the specific purpose for which you provide it and to provide the services described in your policy documents. Please ensure that you only provide us with sensitive information about other people with their agreement.

Fraud prevention agencies
If false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified or suspected, details may be passed to fraud prevention agencies.
