Question: How do I make a claim?

Answer: All claims are dealt with by NIG, your insurer. NIG require that you submit a claim form, together with an written estimate for the repair or replacement, for authorisation. If the claim is for less than £250 then you may authorise the work yourself and subsequently submit a claim form and invoices or estimate immediately. If you pay for the work yourself then, subject to the claim being acceptable, you will be reimbursed by cheque less the excess.

If you are claiming for alternative accommodation of up to £75 a day for up to 15 days then you need to keep receipted bills or other documentary proof of your expenditure.

You can download a claim form here, or contact us by telephone or email and we will send you one out. If you need assistance do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you.

Full details of claims settlement are contained in your policy booklet.
