An introduction to Caravanwise and what we do

Caravanwise Limited was established in 1998 to arrange caravan insurance, trailer tent insurance and static caravan insurance. Our specialisation in one field of insurance means that we really understand your needs and endeavour to provide you with a friendly and efficient service.

Ever since our formation we have put customers at the heart of our business. We know that if we treat you how we would expect to be treated then you will come back to us year after year. We aim to provide you with all of the information that you need in an easy to understand format and are always here during office hours for you to ask for clarification of anything you don't fully understand.

In 1999 we added motorhome insurance and campervan insurance to our portfolio of products and have built up considerable expertise in this field. We can offer insurance for most types of motorhome and camper van including self build campervan insurance. More recently we added horsebox insurance.

Caravanwise is based in Christchurch, Dorset and have a team of dedicated staff many of whom have been with us for over ten years. When you phone Caravanwise you will get through directly to someone who will understand what you are talking about and who will be able to help. If all of our staff are talking to other customers you will not be asked to hold, rather we'll ask you to leave a message and we will get right back to you as soon as someone is available.

Caravanwise Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority which sets strict rules on our conduct and makes sure that we continue to be the reliable insurance provider that you need. We embrace their customer duty regulations set to come into force in July 2023 and have always and will continue to put providing good customer outcomes at the heart of our business.

As well as being authorised and regulated by the FCA as an insurance intermediary we are also authorised as a Credit Broker. This allows us to arrange consumer credit so that you can pay your premiums by direct debit if you wish.

We are proud to embrace the standards of the Financial Ombudsman Service who are there to act as an independent, fair and impartial arbiter should you ever not be able to settle any difference with us. Our aim is for no one to have cause for complaint never mind get to this stage.
