Insurance Premium Tax 2017 rate rise
Insurance Premium Tax to rise to 12% in June 2017
In his Autumn Statement 2016 the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, announced an increase in Insurance Premium Tax, IPT, from 1st June 2017 to 12% from the previously increased rate of 10% which came into effect on 1st October 2016.
